  1. Music & sound

Vanhomwegen's practice is not confined to a single artistic form, as she considers herself a "centipede," adept at navigating multiple disciplines simultaneously. Her work spans sound and music, often involving collaborations with musicians and engaging in projects that explore the sonic landscape. She uses her voice as a tool to explore sound through devices such as loop machines and digital effects.

Over the past decade, alongside her development as a visual artist, she has collaborated closely with electronic music producer Tom Goris. Together, they produced music under the name TONER. Their sound is best described as melancholic lullabies with dreamy electronics and a poppy undertone. Three of their tracks were released as an EP on an independent Brussels label, with popular tracks like All I Need and Losing Control continuing to gain traction on SoundCloud. In 2022 they putted on hold their project TONER to pursue a new, more live-oriented venture. Their latest project, named HAKUBA, is a techno-minded project where the voice plays a key role in shaping their sound identity, bringing a human and organic touch to techno.
